NBI Auxiliary - President's Message

North Baldwin Infirmary Auxiliary is pleased to be serving patients and families in the wonderful new facility. The ladies and gentlemen of the North Baldwin Infirmary Auxiliary are the first folks that most of our patients and their families see when they enter the front door.

Our members are proud to represent the hospital as volunteers on the health care team and are dedicated to providing a warm, dignified welcome and a comforting greeting to all ages. We strive to offer hope and cheer for the hospital patients.

All active NBI volunteers complete an Alabama Volunteer Orientation and Education course to work in various areas of the hospital. You will find us in the lobby, gift shop, surgical and emergency waiting rooms, Oakwood, the North Baldwin Infirmary Wellness Center and many more locations.

We are true “hospital cheerleaders” as we express to the community the superior care available right here in Bay Minette! We host tasty bake sale and other marvelous fund-raising events. Our popular jewelry sales bring visitors from all over the county and our beautiful poinsettias are seen all over town at Christmas. The Auxiliary is thrilled about the eye-catching gift shop that is located in the new facility lobby.

Our members are promising fantastic goodies that will please all ages! Future fund-raising activities will be fun while helping our hospital to blossom! To encourage our community teen, we sponsor the Junior Volunteers and each year the Auxiliary presents a scholarship to an outstanding young high school graduate that desire to pursue a career in health care.

The North Baldwin Infirmary Auxiliary is growing daily through the enthusiasm and dedication of its membership. Come in and join us as we serve our hospital, our community and have fun, too! There is a place for you! Join us!
