Prompt Pay Discount

On January 1, 2005, North Baldwin Infirmary implemented Prompt Pay Discount. For patients who pay their bill in full within 45 days, a 35 percent discount is available on certain services. For more information, contact the NBI Business Office at 937-5521.

Medicaid Office

The Southern Medicaid Office at North Baldwin Infirmary is located across from the Business Office. The office is staffed Monday-Thursday from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. No appointments are necessary. For more information, call 580-1769.

Charity Care

Individuals who are not eligible for government medical assistance programs, unable to pay their medical bills, or who have with limited financial resources, may apply for assistance through the North Baldwin Infirmary’s Charity Care program.

Charity care is care for which the hospital does not charge because it has been determined that the patient cannot afford to pay. In order to qualify, a patient must complete an application and prove that they don’t have the money to cover their bills. For more information, contact NBI Social Worker Norma Eubanks at 580-1735
