Picture Archiving and Communication System. North Balwin Infirmary is one of the few hospitals in Baldwin County to utilize a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

With this filmless, paperless system, X-rays are input directly into a computer giving doctors immediate access to patient images. Diagnoses are made more quickly. Patients go home sooner.
