North Baldwin Infirmary offers Occupational Therapy for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The registered occupational therapists at North Baldwin Infirmary have extensive experience in acute care, pediatrics, rehabilitation, work hardening and industrial rehabilitation. Occupational Therapy services include:

• Orthopaedic rehabilitation
• Neurological rehabilitation
• Therapeutic exercise programs
• Job site analysis and home modifications
• Use of adaptive equipment
• Assistance and training with daily living activities
• Patient and family education
• Energy conservation
• Work simplification
• Manual muscle testing
• Muscle re-education
• Hand and arm rehabilitation
• Splinting for traumatic and repetitive motion injuries
• Pain Management
• Electrical, heat modalities

The Occupational Therapy Department is located in the North Baldwin Infirmary Wellness Center. This service does require a physician referral.
