Spring Gala Plans Under Way

The North Baldwin Infirmary Foundation is springing into action for its biggest fundraising event of the year – the 13th Annual Spring Gala. The event will be held at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette at 6:30 p.m. April 5.

Proceeds from the annual event will benefit the hospital’s efforts to offer digital mammography. Digital mammography is the newest and most significant advancement in the accuracy of mammography.

The 2008 gala committee is composed of the following members: Katherine Wills, gala chairwoman; Jamie Tillery, gala co-chairwoman; Tina Covington, auction chairwoman; Kim Brantley, auction co-chairwoman; and Myron Brogden, sponsorship chairman.

The committee’s immediate focus is obtaining sponsorships and securing donations for the auction.

Four sponsorship levels are available: $2,500 diamond sponsors (includes eight table reservations); $1,500 platinum sponsorships (includes four table reservations); $750 gold sponsorships (includes two table reservations); and $250 silver sponsorships. Numerous items have already been donated for the annual gala auction, including a grill from Baldwin EMC, Mobile Bay Bears tickets and gear, original artwork, Mary Kay cosmetics, Southern Living at Home items, Mobile Symphony tickets, North Baldwin Infirmary Wellness Center one-year membership, weekend getaways, catered dinners and many other services and merchandise.
